Mentioned regular excursions with local guides on a shared basis (shared with other travelers). Day 1: Salta • Arrival in Salta and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 2 : Full Day Cafayate • Departure in the morning through the Lerma Valley, passing through picturesque towns and ravines, such as Cerrilos, La Merced, Ampascachi, La Viña where there is a picturesque establishment called Posta de la Cabra. Continuing you reach Germany, the prelude to the Calchaquí Valleys. On the side of the road that is accompanied by the Las Conchas River, The Devil's Throat, The Amphitheater, the gigantic fissure of the hill, Los Castillos, and other notable figures. Continuing, we ascend to the union of the Santa María and Calchaquí Valleys with the Quebrada de Las Conchas, with views of the Tres Cruces and Morales hills and with this mountainous framework, at the foot of the San Isidro hill. We will visit a winery on our tour. Day 3: Salta – San Antonio de los Cobres – Tilcara • Early departure to San Antonio de los Cobres following the tracks of the Train to the Clouds crossing the colorful Quebrada del Toro until exceeding 4000 meters above sea level. Arrival to the mining town of San Antonio de los Cobres. Lunch. Departure to the Salinas Grandes. Visit and observation of the work with salt. Then we descend the impressive Cuesta de Lipán to end at the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Visit Purmamarca and its beautiful Hill of Seven Colors. Night in Tilcara. Day 4: Tilcara – Humahuaca - Iruya • Departure to Iruya. Visit Humahuaca, a colonial-style city, capital of the Quebrada, then we continue to ascend to 4,000 meters above sea level in Abra del Cóndor and arrive at the picturesque town of Iruya. Night in Iruya. Day 5: Iruya – Salta • Return from Iruya visiting Uquía, Maimará and the Painter's Palette, San Salvador de Jujuy and then take the cornice road that crosses the Yungas jungle. Return to Salta. Day 6: Salta • Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
